Easy Fish Dish

This is one of my go-to saucy fish recipes and the key here is the word EASY. Any fish filet will do, but I prefer it with basa or tilapia. You will have it whipped up in no time and even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy this dish. img_5576I use regular mayonnaise as the base for the sauce, but feel free to use low-fat one if you want to make it a bit more calorie-friendly (and there is no reason for vegan mayo not to work as well).

The ingredients:

  • 8 fish fillets
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp honeyimg_5553

The steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • Blend together mayo, soy sauce, mustard and honey and until well incorporated


    I use my stick blender to whip the sauce

  • Dip each fish filet into the sauce and arrange in the oven proof dish side by side, it is OK if the pieces of fish overlap a bit
  • Pour the rest of the sauce on top of fishimg_5556
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes
  • Remove the foil and bake for 15-20 longer, until the tops of the fish are golden brown


    Ready to serve

  • Serve with your choice of side


    Served with brown sticky rice and sliced tomatoes
